The World Fire Rescue Championship has concluded, and the Chinese national team has won their first men's team championship
On Sept 10, the 19th Men's and 10th Women's World Fire and Rescue Championships, hosted by the Ministry of Emergency Management, the National Fire and Rescue Administration and the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province, closed in Harbin. International Fire and Rescue Sports Federation President Chupriyan attended the closing ceremony and announced the closing of the World Championships, Executive Committee Director Kalinen delivered a speech, and Hao Junhui, Director of the Political Department of the Ministry of Emergency Management and political commissar of the National Fire and Rescue Administration attended and presented awards.
This year's World Fire Rescue Championship lasted for four days, with a total of 11 countries participating, and 9 countries and international organizations, as well as fire departments from Hong Kong and Macau, China, observing on-site.
After intense competition, the Chinese team won the men's team championship at this year's World Fire Rescue Championships, marking the first time the Chinese team has won the team championship. In addition, the Chinese team also won gold medals in two events, namely the men's firefighting 4x100m event and the women's hand-held mobile pump water shooting event.
During this period, delegations from various countries also observed the display of fire-fighting equipment and inspected the local customs and traditions of the host city. With the joint efforts of all parties, this World Firefighting and Rescue Championship has achieved the goal of "simplicity, safety, and excitement", presenting a high-level international firefighting and rescue sports event that showcases Chinese characteristics, firefighting style, Longjiang image, and ice city charm to the world.
